I started looking at Oliver to identify Elizabeth Olver who married Matthew Jowl 26.04.1779 South Hill.She was described as “of this parish ”
but no Elizabeth Olver was born in South Hill at that time.

The study of Linkinhorne presents an interesting idea that Elizabeth b.1737 Linkinhorne could be the correct person. Her family seem to move to South Hill.
She is older than Matthew by about 18 years, however. There is a second possibility for Elizabeth b.1740 Stoke Climsland but no evidence of
a move to South Hill.
